Light shines where no Sun goes

Gift From Mukesh: A Solar Light!

Light shines where no sun goes;
Where no sea runs, the waters of the heart
Push in their tides;
And, broken stars with glow-worms in their heads,
The things of light file through the piles of universe
To touch the dark rooms to enlighten them,
And the mind heals...

A candle in the eyes flickers slowly;
And shows a twisted, dark road,
A set of smiling eyes,
Two sets of foot-prints, side by side,
Stretching to horizon to ask the sky
For a little light or a Moon,
And the heart heals....

Dawn breaks behind the blinds;
From north pole to south pole
A three year old smile spreads
Filling up the the bruises,
The deep pits of the Moon
And slides like a sea;
Nor fenced, nor staked
Light breaks on secret lots,
Divining the oil of tears...
And the soul heals...
