Whenever one looks around,
One finds things-
Living, non-living...
But nevertheless things...
And the mind casts its sail
In the large ocean of things...
The voyage seems non-stop...
And then there is a ship-wreck
Or a harbour beckoning in the horizon!
With this happening the mind now crawls back,
Like a ribbon it had spread once
And it unwinds now,
Slowly slowly ... then fast, very fast...
And see that which is real,
It's own inner self...
And the mysterious physical chariot- the body!
The mind sinks back...
Inwards and inwards it goes...
And drowns in a pool
And arise as something different!
A Light eternal!
Now that it knows what it is
The fear grips it more!
If i am an eternal light,
Why i need a chariot to travel
Why a body for a soul?
It wonders...
And it pines ...
Then it prays...
Prays for the answers to appear
That are locked somewhere inside ...
It knows...
One finds things-
Living, non-living...
But nevertheless things...
And the mind casts its sail
In the large ocean of things...
The voyage seems non-stop...
And then there is a ship-wreck
Or a harbour beckoning in the horizon!
