Jhallaan Pakhi

Jhallaan Pakhi
Kitur kitur kare
kahe -sun boli meri
mere kuchh na wo sune...

jhalan pakshi
mange jigar ki lahu
aur jigar me hi chonh mare...
hath badhaun pash na ae..
roun, pash a beith hase...

Jhallaan Pakhi
Kitur kitur kare...
uspe mere jaan basi hai...
Ushe malumat hai...
islie na kaal dekhe na sthan
jaan pe ban ata hai..
Jhallaan Pakhi
Kitur kitur kare...

Jhallaan Pakhi
Kitur kitur kare
kahe -sun boli meri
mere kuchh na wo sune...
na samjhe hai...

Jhallaan Pakhi
Kitur kitur kare..

~The Silk Thread of Your Foot Print

Dear Mukesh,
Where is the ancient traveler in You?
Who goes long ways…
Knowing nothing of what is ahead
Always expecting surprises…
On a road where no man has travelled before…
Happily…smiling…

Crossing the stiff mountains
The barren deserts
The Blue Ocean..
Meeting people…
Adapting the locality, the terrain…
In some life-preaching
And in some other merchandising…
Always finding the Dhruva Star in the eastern Horizon…
As the beckoning guide-
Saying- E Traveller, Keep heart…You are not lost!

upon a giant bird’s back
Upon a camel hoof…
On a horse back
On a raft…
On foot…
On and on You go…
With adventure in mind
And joyful spirit in heart…
Winking at the Dhruva Star
Whistling softly and Telling – You watch out…
Don’t get tired being my map!

Did You Forget?
O Soma Sekhar,
Your ancient Journey Chronicle,
And the travel route...
That threads the world in one Silken Moment…

Man Pavan

In my last night's dream,
I mounted upon a horse back
And held His long manes dearly
He asked me –"where to?"
I whispered in his ear
The Silk Route…
He neighed sharply
And started hoofing up
Tuk tak tuk tak…one foot upon the other…
“It’s a long trail”- he murmured…
“But you have four feet
And wings You can always grow”
I told him

~Beckoning Fingers

The bygone era
The valorous PâîkaRaaj
The glorious Kalinga...
The dancings Akhdas..
Those lost golden pages...
I descend through the spiral staircase....
Into the forgotten land..
With a small lamp in my hand...
And saw...
Here a face peeped...
There a set of hands beating a drum..
And somewhere a conch sounded
Signalling the on start of a war
And a period of golden gallantry beckons...

Godhuli

Godhuli is a moment of contemplation...
A moment dedicated to prayer...
Listen in every nook and corner of a Hindu world holy chantings are going on...
And in our inner sanctrum the Om is resonating...
So we fold our hands and pray...

Sun is a lantern!

Sun is a lantern
That is lit in the evening dimly
To feed the fantasies of the painter n poet!

Blossoming Mind

A bit of Colour
And Some Flowers
A bit of Nature
Decorated with an aesthetic hand,
And some divine feelings
Make some pages of a sacred heart...!
An image speaks a thousand word...
of a place near Golakdham
and of a person
whose mind blossoms there...
